AUTOMATIC CONTROL
PANELS
Automatic control module provides integrated generator set
control, protection, metering and automatic load transfer. If a fault is
detected, the engine will automatically shutdown and the failure will be
indicated by the LCD display and alarm horn. The unit detects failure of any
phase in the mains supply and is able to start the generator and transfer the
load. When the mains supply is restored within the pre-set limits, the load is
transferred back to the mians supply and the generator is shutdown in a
controlled manner. The unit offers manuel, fully automatic and test mode which
allows the generator to be run without taking the load. Mode of the operation
can be changed at any time without affecting the operation status of the
generator or load connection

CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION
WITH SOFTWARE
The control modules configuration software allows
the modules to be connected to a PC.
Once connected the various
operating parameters within the module can be viewed or edited as required by
the engineer. This software allows easy controlled access to these values and
also has diagnostic monitoring facilities.

The Configuration interface should only be used by competent,
qualified personnel, as changes to the operation of the module may have safety
implications on the panel / generating set to which it is fitted. Access to
critical operational sequences and settings for use by qualified engineers, are
barred by a PC software security code. Timers are protected by a separate code
allowing operator changes to be made.
The information contained in
this manual should be read in conjunction with the information contained in the
appropriate module documentation. The operation of the module is detailed in its
own relevant manual.
For legacy support, an RS232 version is also
available with an adapter cable to allow connection to the 9 pin D type RS232
connectors as required.
